Tubearoo, Inc. announced on July 13 that it has begun to more closely consider the acquisition aspect of the growth strategies for its business. "From the beginning our general plans have involved growth through internal development as well as acquisitions, and we are now more closely considering the acquisition side to the growth of our business," said Paul Medvedev, Tubearoo´s President and CEO. "With relatively high market fragmentation, the Internet video business is primed for consolidation and acquisitions, and we have had the opportunity to loosely review a few acquisition opportunities. As we continue our search, Tubearoo hopes to find companies to acquire that will be a good strategic and financial fit," said Medvedev. The company noted that there is no assurance that it will be able to identify or acquire any companies pursuant to this potential acquisition strategy.

Tubearoo Inc. announced that its Mobile Video service has received approval for use with some major cellular carriers. Tubearoo is working to make its Mobile Video service available to customers of several major cellular carriers, which will allow subscribers to receive Tubearoo.com video clips to cell phones and other cellular devices via text messaging service. The company has been testing the Mobile Video service on an internal basis as it awaited these further cellular company approvals, and is now working towards a beta launch for customers of the currently approved cellular companies.

Tubearoo Inc. announced that its Tubearoo.com Internet videos are now available in mp4 format and are compatible with video-capable iPods. This new Tubearoo.com feature enables users to download videos in mp4 format that is directly compatible with iPod, with no further file conversion required.
